Every year the church holds a campaign during the Christmas season to support several community organizations around La Plata County, the Four Corners and even Internationally. 100% of the proceeds from this campaign go to the organizations selected by the Missions Finance Team (MFT) of the church. Beginning on Monday, September 25 through Thursday, October 19, the MFT is accepting applications from organizations interested in being a part of the campaign this year. There is a short application form as well as additional documents that are required to be considered for the offering and those are available in the front office of the church or by contacting Robb or Janelle in the office. Because we often get 2-3 times more applicants than can be selected, the October 19 deadline is a hard date. The main criteria for being selected for the program is that organizations must be an approved 501(c)(3) non-profit as certified by the IRS.
