Welcome to the TABLE
Throughout His ministry, Jesus often shared meals with people from all walks of life—welcoming the outcast, the seeker, and the faithful alike. “The Table” is the young adult ministry at Summit Church centered around that same spirit of community, conversation, and belonging. Come as you are, there’s a chair waiting for you!
Our Groups
The Table consists of three different groups for the various stages of young adulthood. We have a college group, a young professionals group, and a young marrieds group. Here’s more info about each group within The Table Young Adult Ministry:
College Students
1. Meet twice a month for lunch, fellowship, prayer, and community. (2nd & 4th Sundays of each month following the 10:30 service at Summit Church)
i. Attend the 10:30 am service at Summit Church and then meet up in the Wesley Commons area after the service with other college students and leaders to decide where to go out for lunch. (Lunch gatherings approximately 11:45 am – 1:30 pm)
ii. Summit Church will cover the cost of the meal for all students and leaders!
2. We encourage students to also participate in Summit Church events. (Weekend worship services, Men’s & Women’s Retreats, Outreach Events, serving opportunities, small groups, etc.)
3. We encourage students to consider volunteering at Summit Church at least once a month to bless others and get more connected at Summit! i. Please contact Kristen Folden at [email protected] to learn more about volunteer opportunities at Summit.
i. Some volunteer opportunities to consider that might be a great fit are:
High School Youth Group on Wednesdays 6:00 – 8:00 pm (includes dinner)
Middle School Youth Group on Sundays 10:30 – 11:30 am
Summit Kids weekend programming (pre-K – 5th grade) Saturdays 5:30 – 6:30 pm or Sundays 9:00 – 10:00 am or 10:30 – 11:30 am
4. Participate in our Spring Retreat for The Table, which will consist of all three young adult groups (College ministry, Young Professionals, & Young Marrieds)
i. April 17-18 at Three Trails Ranch (2038 Sierra Verde Dr., Durango, CO 81301)
ii. Cost: Free
iii. RSVP for the Retreat HERE
Working Professionals (Early-20’s to Early-30’s) single or married with no kids
1. Meet monthly at a local host home for dinner, fellowship, prayer, and community. (3rd Tuesday of each month 6:00-8:00 pm)
i. We’ll provide dinner for all group members and leaders each month!
ii. Host Home information: 1937 CR 250, Durango
2. We encourage group members to also participate in Summit Church events. (Weekend worship services, Men’s & Women’s Retreats, Outreach Events, serving opportunities, small groups, etc.)
3. We encourage group members to consider volunteering at Summit Church at least once a month to bless others and get more connected at Summit! i. Please contact Kristen Folden at [email protected] to learn more about volunteer opportunities at Summit.

Married Couples (Mid-20s to Mid-30’s) with kids or without kids
1. Meet weekly in room 204 at Summit Church on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am for brunch, fellowship, prayer, and community.
i. We’ll provide brunch for all group members and leaders each Sunday!
ii. Infants are welcome to join us, and we have nursery staff for littles and children’s programming for older children pre-k through 5th grade.
2. We encourage group members to also participate in Summit Church events. (Weekend worship services, Men’s & Women’s Retreats, Outreach Events, serving opportunities, small groups, etc.)
3. We encourage group members to consider volunteering at Summit Church at least once a month to bless others and get more connected at Summit! i. Please contact Kristen Folden at [email protected] to learn more about volunteer opportunities at Summit.
ii. A great place to consider starting is with our Hospitality Team that welcomes and greets people as they arrive for our four different worship services each weekend!
