About Fellowship of Christian Men
The Fellowship of Christian Men (FCM) group was started 9 years ago after our annual men’s retreat in October. We meet every Friday morning for fellowship, breakfast, and a discussion about life, faith, and how to be godly men, husbands, and fathers. During the school year FCM meets at Summit Church, with members taking turns providing breakfast for the group on a rotational basis, and in the summers, we pick a local restaurant where we will have our meetings. The FCM group has coordinated and participated in two fundraisers for local families dealing with cancer to help provide financial support to those families. FCM raised over $40,000 for one family and over $80,000 for another family, and we continue to look for ways we can bless and serve others on our community. Our Friday meetings start around 6:15 am and end between 7:30 and 8 am, or whenever guys need to leave for work. The majority of our members are in their 40s & 50s with a few over 50, but anyone is welcome. We are mostly made up of married dads/grandfathers with some single and/or divorced.
