As usual, this church body responded to the call for help in support of the victims of the tremendous flooding in Texas. We will be sending them a donation of $25,000 to help with whatever needs are required and determined by the rescue workers. The funds will go to the Rio Conference of the United Methodist Church and their disaster relief team. Thank you so much to all of you who responded with your gifts, thoughts, and prayers. This is a great example of being Jesus Christ to the World.
