The church is forming a safety team to be present during the services on weekends. Initially it will be on Sunday morning only, but eventually once the team is fully up and running it will expand to Saturday night a well. The team members will be available to respond in the event of a medical emergency, fire or other building situation, lost child, and other situations. The team members will be identified by having a blue lanyard around their neck along with a name badge with their photo and will be moving around the building and parking lot during services. They have all been trained in CPR and how to respond in an emergency. While we have been blessed to date with very few situations over the years necessitating medical or other assistance, our church leadership felt it was prudent to have a regular presence in the building during the weekends.
