Dear Summit Church,
After careful consideration, I have decided to step down as Caring Ministry Director at Summit Church at the end of October to spend six months in California near my family and take time to discern my next vocational steps. Through this process, I have recognized a desire to return to my background and passions in teaching and the visual and performing arts.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at Summit Church. This role has provided valuable experience, meaningful relationships, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. I appreciate the trust and support you have extended to me during my time here.

Join us as we say farewell to our beloved Kristen Folden, who has been a cherished part of our church community. Kristen has touched countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and dedication, and while we are sad to see her go, we are excited for the new adventures that await her. This farewell celebration is a perfect opportunity to express our gratitude and share fond memories.
The celebration will be held in the Wesley Commons after each worship service this weekend, where we’ll enjoy light refreshments and heartfelt moments together.
