This Christmas Eve, share in the joy of giving by serving at one of Summit’s candlelight worship services! Each year, our church welcomes hundreds of guests, and our dedicated ushers, greeters, and hospitality team members play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect more deeply with our church family and create lasting memories. Being part of the hospitality team has been a cherished tradition for many, and we invite you to make it yours as well!
We are looking for ushers and greeters for our service on December 23 at 6:00 PM (Christmas Eve Eve) and all four services on Christmas Eve. Additionally, parking lot attendants are needed for these services. Volunteers will arrive 30 minutes before and stay 30 minutes after the service. Choose from five different service times: Dec 23 at 5 PM, Dec 24 at 1, 3, 5, or 7 PM. Families are encouraged to serve together and enjoy a delicious hot meal with fellow volunteers and staff. If you prefer to serve behind the scenes, our facilities manager, CJ, also needs assistance.
Help is needed to put together candles for the Christmas Eve services, a task perfect for families or small groups to do at home. This one is done ahead of time, and should be completed 2 weeks before the Christmas Eve services.
Additionally, volunteers are needed for touch-up tasks in the sanctuary and cleaning after the 5:00pm and 7:00pm services. Please contact CJ at [email protected] to lend a hand.
