Originally founded in 2011, Mothers for Awareness and Prevention of Drug Abuse (MAPDA) was created by mothers whose families were devastated by the opioid epidemic. United by their shared grief, these women joined forces to turn tragedy into action – working to prevent other families from experiencing the same loss. MAPDA will host a special fundraising reception honoring two community leaders, Bob Brammer and Randy Black, who have stood on the front lines of the opioid and fentanyl crisis.
