Our Native Hope Ministries will be collecting non-perishable food and supplies for needy Navajo individuals and families on Saturday, August 20, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Summit Church parking lot. Many folks have no jobs, no electricity or running water, no way to bake or to keep things cold, and no access to healthy foods. We are especially seeking items with low or no sugar, salt or saturated fats. We are not able to use items requiring the addition of milk, eggs or meat. And please, no large sizes and no glass. For more information, contact Marcia Heidenreich, marciah@animas.net, or Janna Ranson, jannaranson@me.com.
