Be Jesus Christ to the wold by sharing the Good News of Jesus’ love and salvation by packing a shoebox for a child.
Summit Church Challenge – Each member pack at least 1 shoebox to help us meet our goal of 1,000 boxes!,
Operation Christmas Child is a nondenominational organization under the umbrella of Samaritan’s Purse who’s mission is to demonstrate God’s love to children in need around the world. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God’s immense love for the child. The Gospel is presented to boys and girls in a clear and child-friendly way, in their own language. Children are then invited to join a discipleship program, The Greatest Journey, to learn about Jesus, then share their faith with family and friends.
Please come to the La Plata Room or the Sending Grounds after any service starting Oct 31 – Nov 15 to pick up your boxes and learn more about the ministry and what to pack.
Please return all packed shoeboxes to Summit Church by Sunday Nov 22.
