• In 2025 30 Navajo individuals and families received monthly boxes of food and supplies—a total of 1044 boxes. Many were elderly, disabled or supporting large families, all part of our Family to Family program.
• 179 “care packages” of food and supplies were handed out to needy individuals and families who are not part of the Family to Family program.
• 269 large loads of firewood were delivered to folks struggling to keep their homes warm.
• 27 individuals and families received clean water on a regular basis.
• 5 individuals and families now have simple solar lighting installations.
• Approximately 80 preschool and elementary students at Tohaali Community School received food to add to their weekend take-home bags.
• An untold number of Tohaali School students, families and community members were given books, school supplies, warm clothing, sturdy shoes, coats, hats, blankets, sleeping bags, mattresses, personal hygiene items, fabric, sewing supplies, dishes, paper goods and even 2 trundle beds. Many similar items were also handed out to needy individuals elsewhere on the reservation.
• Two Navajo men were employed year round.
All of this was accomplished by members of Summit Church, other churches or no church at all, including individuals living far from Durango. Our heartfelt thanks to each of you for your support and encouragement.
