The Lead Team of the Methodist Thrift Shop in Durango is pleased to announce that we will once again offer a number of scholarships valued up to $1000 to graduates and GED earners of La Plata County for the 2024-25 academic year. This is a one-time, nonrenewable award for students beginning their post-secondary education.
As a faith-based organization, an important part of the application includes both a faith statement by the applicants and a letter of recommendation by the applicant’s faith leader (pastor, rabbi, youth group leader, priest, etc.).
